It’s amazing how republicans are able to create hyper local targeted advertising while all democrats can do is trump trump trump. Today on YouTube the Republican attorney general candidate ad came on, which started with an abduction attempt at a local mall not more than 5 miles from my house and then explained why this AG is better choice on crime. This immediately followed by democrat AG video about how he will stand up to… Trump. We get it. That’s the bare minimum dude at this point, but you really ought to be negating the Republican with hyper local ad of your own.

Also, I think my dog is a republican. The planned parenthood lady wanted to pet him so I opened the door and asked him to come outside. The motherfucker instead stood at the door, and then started barking at her. Whatever the fuck? A golden retriever, a human fucking magnet decided to bark at the stranger.

This is the first time ever we have had a planned parenthood volunteer stop by our house asking for donation. Promptly set up a monthly donation with them. Now more than ever we need this org to survive!

The Visa presale for soccer World Cup was such a joke. I got in first thing (my wait time was 2 mins), and absolutely nothing was available except smaller matches. I was primarily looking at Philly and New York and ended up with nothing. Everything sold out. Blah.

Because we have no house-help unlike India we know how to optimize our utensils usage so by end of the when we run the dishwasher its not overflowing. Plus, less things to wash! But this is not something India folks are used to, including my in-laws since they have so much help with all of that. The result is that by mid-day our sink is already full of utensils ready to be washed. Its not uncommon for us to run the dishwasher twice daily now, and that is with my mother in laws hand washing some stuff herself (which we forbid her to – I mean, why else do we have a dishwasher in first place!).

My FIL is giving my backyard/sideyard/frontyard a make over that I would have spent thousands if not hundreds of dollars on. Grateful for it. It keeps him busy and brings the farmer in him out so he is entertained, and my yard is getting the makeover it really needs. Win-win for all!

My in laws have lost complete sense of time. The quiet and dark gloomy weather basically has wrecked their system so bad that they sleep ams wale up like teenagers.

Starts off great but just loses steam completely by end. It wasn’t even scary except for the few initial jolts. Waste of 10$ rental – could have waited until it dropped to 4$.
