I am oddly looking forward to tomorrow and the new presidency. I really do want Trump to succeed in destroying every institution of this country so it can be rebuilt better and more resilient. So yeah, buckle up everyone for the ride – it’s gonna be a hard one. But hey when we all come out of it on the other side we can be proud that the price of eggs remained the same!

Much against what I thought that the swim meet day 2 would be cancelled due to hazardous conditions because of ice rain and snow through the afternoon, it was NOT. Fucking annoying coz I had to drive her to the meet coz everyone of her friends was making it – and it’s going to get worse and worse as day goes on. Well at least she has agreed that if conditions look really bad she will scratch a couple of races and head back. Fucking annoyed with these swim people.
Severence is just…. Weird.
📺 [Silo (2023)](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/125988) – ★★★★☆
A solid 3.5 star but not 4. Great first 4 and last 2 episodes but those 4 filler episodes really suck the life out of the viewer. That said, how good was Steve Zahn? Almost an award worthy performance through this season. I did not like that last scene ending to which I will go into detail a bit later as to why.
Can we fucking accelerate global warming. I want America to become the arctic tundra before 30 days of the president. We can all thaw in 4 years.
2-4″ more snow sunday followed by brutal cold to start the week. Looking extremely likely schools are gonna be closed Tuesday and/or Wednesday. I am definitely going to WFH at least one of the days if not both!
The last scene of S2E10 of Silo made me want to 🤮. Everything prior to it was A+ grade.
The sick dog gets the meal that he most loves because generally we don’t give him yogurt-rice on a daily basis. But yogurt-rice is his absolute favorite meal which is a blessing because it makes it so much easier to care for him when he’s sick coz yogurt-rice is the one meal he will eat no matter what. Pakka south indian he is!
I just remembered greatbong for no particular reason, then googled him, went to his website, looked around for a few minutes, and then left and felt there was nothing more to it. Isn’t he the guy who became modi bhakth over a period of time? feels like so but who knows.
This is an insane stretch of really cold weather that has engulfed mid-atlantic region. We usually get snaps of bitter cold that lasts a few days and then again comes back to average temperatures or bit above. It feels like we’ve been in this sub 30 weather for weeks together now and it doesnt show sign of easing next week either. I just hope Jan is the worst of it!
