Temps above freezing so the snow was all slushy and wet – however it was not too much so shoveling didn’t take much time. The wind however is ensuring that snow is just flying around. Still this is a better outcome than last storm (and normal may I say) – temps steadily warmer through week so this should not stick around long. Commiserations to our northern friends who got hammered. Even our friends up in Philly were hit with a foot of snow and not done yet.

So the high school is finally having its ICE walkout protest next week that one of the juniors in our community is organizing. Her sister is classmates with my kid – and the friend is like “oh my sis is only organizing it coz it will look good on her college app!” – my teen is like most kids are excited because it allows them to bunk school for a few hours and not that they really care.
