For whatever reasons best known to itself the Dreame decided mid run it needed to create a brand new map of our floor and then promptly got lost in a room because it had no idea how to get back .

The Sheep Detectives (2026) – ★★★★☆ This was way more fun than I thought it would be. Simple, cute and uncomplicated. Sometimes that’s all you need to make a nice cheerful movie.

I am a truly neutral party today. I wouldn’t mind seeing Messi winning back to back world cups, nor would I mind it if the young 19 year old upcoming superstar by name of Yamal lifts the World Cup too. All in all a win-win situation, so all I hope for is some good football.

Miami is such a horrible stadium why do they keep hosting such big games is beyond me. Getting in and out of that stadium is just a nightmare.

Preponed our dad’s visit by almost a month. He didn’t explicitly ask for it but he talked about how his best friend from NY who’s not been doing well called him up. Apparently according to my brother it was a very somber phone call with his friend telling my dad he doesn’t have too many days to live and every conversation they have might be the last for him. Last weekend of summer swim meets this weekend with divisionals later in week if qualified. I always am both relieved and sad at end of summer swim. Relieved because we can finally rest easy on weekends/weekdays instead of volunteering and sad because it’s like the beginning of last part of summer. This year I am also feeling the blues because we now have only 2 more summer swim seasons left technically before she heads off to college.

Last night as I wrapped up the kitchen I overheard my wife saying “you’ve exceeded expectations…!”. Beaming with pride I turned around only to see her complimenting our bloody vacuum cleaner for taking 2+ hours to do a full clean.
