After 3 days of pasta-pusta we had to do Indian food and my god it hit the spot. All of us wanted Indian before we head south and there are literally no Indian options whatsoever. The food was just delicious!

@pratik Like all other major cities take sensible precautions and it’s not a bother at all. Even in max crowd areas.

Last evening in Rome. Definitely requires more time but on the plus side it’s not like anyone can realistically cover Italy in one trip, so the opportunities to revisit Rome will be there in future. Lots of do nothing days coming up so didn’t mind the busy 3 days.

We have seen our share or basilicas and cathedrals in Europe but I was not prepared for the stunning grandeur of St Peter’s Basilica. A day trip to Vatican Museums and Basilica along with the dome climb was well worth it! The museums were horrendously hot and crowded but going with guided tour helped make some sense of madness, plus allow quick entry into the museum itself.
