@pratik Let me know how it goes. Currently the weights are all tuned at 1 so by default the answers maybe be a bit meh so choose a qn that you kinda already know the answer to calibrate it.

It was mixed experience being in a panel selection for my teen’s high school principal. The panel consisted of 3 parents, 3 teachers, 2 administrators and 1 high school student. 4 candidates showed up. The bureaucratic process though was tiresome so was the inability to drill down the candidates beyond the preselected questions. We could all rate anonymously who we think should be moved ahead but the administrators were clear that they could still disregard our recommendations and move candidates anyway even if everyone of us hated them. I was like so why so much tamasha! Why so much drama about community involvement if at end of our day our inputs don’t really matter and it was mostly for “participation”. Since I don’t have a stake, if I am invited again on this panel I am going to decline.

How insane is it that the ceo of my last company calls out the product that I worked on and the success metrics of it (which literally was the last thing I did before getting laid off) in the q3 results readout today?! What a fuck all company. I am glad their stock is taking a beating because guess what one of the few things that did work was what I worked on. I hope the company goes down under.
