πΊ Scam 2003: The Telgi Story (2023) – β β β β β

A worthy second part on a different scam in India. The acting by lead by absolutely first rate and I honestly couldnβt make out the real guy from actor. Well done series!

πΊ The Bear – Season 3 – β β β ββ

I wanted to give it 3-1/2 stars. Started off brilliant and then just meandered away through the season. I hope next season is the last because there is nothing left.
πΊ [Trying (2020)] Season 4 (https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/98177) – β β β β β

I canβt wait for season 5 after that cliffhanger!

The first ΒΎ of the movie is so funny.

I dont want Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies for storytelling, but to see a master visual artist in action. In that department, Heeramandi does not disappoint. Good music & terrific performances except one actor (who was just pathetic). But the visuals are just stunning. Bhansali has an eye for details and staging of a scene, and while some may call it all fake, every frame is like a painting. More than anything else I was awed by the visual artistry of the series and that alone got a couple of stars from me!

Nice slice of life kinda movie but I wish there was a bit more to the movie.

Oh wow this was a terrific court drama! I was half expecting to be slow noirish boring movie but this was riveting watch.

What a devastatingly beautiful biopic of Chamkila. Imtiaz Ali is in top form here supported an excellent soundtrack as well terrific performances across the board. Probably one of the finest biopics out of India this! This is how you do Biopics, Bollywood!

Could have been so much funnier than it became. Parts of the movie are hilarious but overall cuts a sorry figure with a such an interesting topic.
Dune 2 was SPECTACULAR! Move over Christopher Nolan, this is the new bar on how to mount a big budget spectacle. The scale at how this movie is framed and shot makes it a must watch on as big a screen as possible.
