Quick update:
Yesterday after reading my blog, this Greg Brewer guy calls me up again on my phone. He says, they’ve read my blog, and “discussed” it, and they’ve decided to try one more thing.
Greg Brewer offered that they would send “another” replacement to my wireless card with a “high-end” wireless card. Also this time, the same engineer won’t change the card. They could then install the card and then try to see if that fixed the problem.
I refused. I have already started an official conversation with Office Depot to get a replacement of another brand of laptop with similar specs.
Here’s the thing Greg: I am not Lenovo’s Guinea Pig. I am not your willy-wally rat that you can run your experiments on so that you finally get your product working right. Sorry mate – Find another pig :D.
On a side note: Since I have decided I will get Office Depot to give me another brand (or worst come to worst return this trash for good!) I will do some things before fizzing out. One of things I do plan to do is I noticed that there is not one single petition on petitiononline.com against Lenovo. Maybe I will start one and lay one copy of this experience on their site, so that people can always come back looking for information and find it, even if my website goes down in future. As always, information the web is the key :D. A fair bit of SEO experience also helps hehehe.
