Dear white people: Before you get into minutia of Elon Musk’s Nazi salute of whether it really was or not, or the angle or his hand motion was right or wrong, or the hand direction was correct/incorrect, or thumping on chest is part of salute or not, STOP. Just imagine for a moment that it was a black or a brown man doing the exact same action on stage. Then think. If your immediate reaction to a black or a brown man doing that same gesture would’ve been *O fuck, thats a nazi salute*, then you need to stop defending *yourself* first, not Elon.
